ACO Participation Waiver

Effective January 1, 2016, Partners In Care ACO, Inc. (the ACO) entered into a Contribution and Laboratory Services Agreement with Accu Reference Medical Labs, LLC (Accu Reference). Under the Agreement, Accu Reference will provide laboratory testing, phlebotomy, computer hardware and software systems, and analytics support services on a voluntary basis to the ACO Participants. These services will directly support the population health management activities of the ACO by enhancing the ACO’s ability to receive and analyze patient data on a timely basis so as to better coordinate care and achieve clinical integration, improved health, and reduced costs. Having determined that the Agreement was reasonably related to the purposes of the Medicare Shared Savings Program, the Partners In Care ACO, Inc. Board of Directors adopted a resolution approving the Agreement on December 16, 2015.
